50 argentine businessmen to visit El Salvador in 2022 to initiate cooperation projects

The President of the Banco de Desarrollo de El Salvador (BANDESAL), Juan Pablo Durán, indicated in a morning interview that on february 27, 2022, a group of 50 argentinean investors will visit El Salvador, in order to initiate new cooperation projects.

Also, the head of BANDESAL, last month visited the Republic of Argentina, where he made an exchange with Provincial Governments, Universities and State Banks, of that country; managing to position the work being done in El Salvador to support the economic recovery of MSMEs and the efficient work being done through the Centro de Entrenamiento y Desarrollo Empresarial (CEDE).

Durán, together with the Minister of Agriculture, David Martínez, participated in a meeting with the Secretary of Strategic Affairs of the Presidency of Argentina, Gustavo Béliz, at the Casa Rosada, Headquarters of the Central Government, to present the work carried out by the Economic Cabinet.

Secretary Béliz showed interest and willingness to join the effort to generate important technological and business exchanges with El Salvador, understanding that it can be the window to make a presence in Central America in all kinds of issues.

In addition, among the achievements is the signing of a cooperation agreement between BANDESAL and the Corporación Vitivinícola Argentina (COVIAR), with this businessmen affiliated to COVIAR and customers of the bank are interested in exporting products from El Salvador to Argentina and vice versa with this may create new trade links, which will positively impact the economy of both nations.
