The Premio Ayudando a Quienes Ayudan of the Fundación Gloria de Kriete celebrates 15 years of being a reference that recognizes the initiatives of organizations that are an example for the salvadoran society for their commitment, empathy and solidarity with those who live in vulnerable conditions. The finalists for the 2021 edition were announced today.

This award has been given since 2006, with the main objective of bringing solutions to the communities, through the work of other organizations that work in different areas throughout the country, and that are leaders in different issues that promote development.

One of the main objectives of the Award is to achieve an articulated work. Through the work of the organizations that have been awarded, the organization has been able to witness great social projects throughout the country, thus benefiting more people.

This year marks the fifteenth edition of the award with the theme “Contagiemos la esperanza”, to infect salvadorans with positivism, inviting them to continue discovering new opportunities and potential, bringing out the best in everyone and in society.

This year, the response to the 2021 call has been extremely satisfactory, the number of applications increased compared to 2019, going from 133 to 199.

"During the 15 editions of the Premio Ayudando a Quienes Ayudan , 110 winning organizations have been supported in the different modalities. They are granted economic, technical or in-kind contributions, which they have used to transform their respective environments. This year, we have once again come across a large number of initiatives that are a true example of solidarity, but also of knowledge of the real needs of the communities. We have selected 41 finalist projects that we are now presenting", explained Fernando Kriete, secretary and member of the Board of Directors of the Fundación Gloria de Kriete.

"By undertaking articulated actions we can achieve a collective impact, and that is precisely what we seek to achieve with the Ayudando a Quienes Ayudan Award, to help different sectors of the population through the organizations and individuals who participate”, said Jule.

The Premio Ayudando a quienes Ayudan was born with the purpose of recognizing the efforts of those who, from different fields of action, carry out actions aimed at contributing and joining efforts to help other people and contribute to a fairer and more supportive world.
