FUNDEMAS started sustainability and CSR week by overcoming global risks

The week of Responsibility and CSR organized by the Fundación Empresarial para la Acción Social (FUNDEMAS),  began today, under the slogan "Overcoming global risks through sustainability".

The event will be held virtually from october 3 to 5, for all individuals and companies wishing to learn more about how industries support salvadorans, organizations, schools, nursing homes and others through sustainability projects. It also seeks to inspire current and future leaders to be part of the change and improvement that the country needs.

During the three days will address various topics focused on the risks and opportunities for companies, in terms of sustainability and seeking to evolve through various strategies.

The first day will focus on governance, environmental, social and governance issues.

Also, this event will count with the participation and presentation of various figures who will be addressing these issues related to sustainability, among them: Amelia Lopez Huix, senior advisor on gender equality and senior partner of the TGE program of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact in the Netherlands.

The speaker will seek to inspire company leaders to visualize gender and equality as one of the main pillars of governance and part of the business.

Also, another of the topics will be "The commitment for El Salvador", a space to discuss with various leaders of the country, on the route to be followed to help address urgent global challenges of each of their roles.

On the second day of presentations will be given on "On successful societies for successful companies".

The objective for this activity will be to show how organizations are responding to the challenges of mental health through the health footprint.

For the "Future of work and workplace" will be in charge of the speaker John Landeta, author and founding Partner of The Business of Happiness, advisor and mentor of entrepreneurs and executives, Marter Trainer and Certified Coach.

Luis Maram, Mexico, consulting and training in Digital Inbound Marketing, Specialist in Content Marketing, will provide topics on "The New Marketing of Stakehokders.

There will be a day specifically for young people who will be able to acquire knowledge on "Communities as new platforms for social change: anatomy of the new leader".

On this theme development will focus on the existence of new leadership through traditional and digital communities, discovering what they are, the transformative power they have on society and the leaders behind each one.
