Finance Committee issues report for financing the Bypass in the City of San Miguel

Today in the Finance Committee of the Legislative Assembly, the deputies issued a favorable opinion for the approval of the financing signed with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for the Bypass Construction Project in the City of San Miguel (II).

For the congressmen, this approval is a boost for the eastern part of the country, because it will help the economy and industry of the area.

"With this project we will improve traffic and transportation capacity in San Miguel, through the construction of a highway around the city", said the Director General of Investment and Public Credit of the Ministry of Finance, Moisés Cabrera.

It will also help boost economic activity in the eastern part of the country. The bypass will have a total length of approximately 21 kilometers.
