Fundación Gloria de Kriete receives the award for the most outstanding foundation of 2021

The prestigious magazine Derecho y Negocios, a reference of the legal sector in El Salvador and Central America, chose Fundación Gloria de Kriete (FGK) as the winner of the DyN Award 2021 in the category of "Most Outstanding Foundation of the Year". The recognition to FGK responds to its work in favor of initiatives in favor of the development of the country, and the improvement in the quality of life of the most vulnerable populations.

This is the second time that the Fundación Gloria de Kriete receives this recognition, becoming the first organization to win the award twice. This award has been given for 11 years and in this twelfth edition, the panel of judges decided to reward the efforts of the Fundación Gloria de Kriete, which through different projects and initiatives has had an undeniable contribution in addressing the needs of communities and needy groups in the nation.

"We are extremely honored as a team to receive this recognition and we receive it on behalf of the more than 100 collaborators of the Foundation and the more than 110 organizations we work with throughout the country", said Juana Jule, Executive Director of Fundación Gloria de Kriete.

The winners of the DyN Awards 2021 were announced this october 20, and will be presented in the coming days, the organizers announced. This tribute coincides with the final stage of the Ayudando a Quienes Ayudan Award, with which each year the Fundación Gloria de Kriete recognizes the efforts of those who, from different fields of action, carry out actions aimed at contributing and joining efforts to help other people and contribute to a fairer and more supportive world.

In its more than fifteen years of activity, the Fundación Gloria de Kriete has become one of the philanthropic initiatives with the greatest social impact in El Salvador, based on a unique purpose: to work for the most needy people in El Salvador, committed to serving and helping the population by attending to their primary needs. The Foundation operates through its own projects and supports organizations committed to the welfare and improvement of salvadoran society with the mission of building a more caring country.

The Foundation was established in december 2004 at the initiative of the seven children of Gloria de Kriete. This non-profit institution was created mainly to perpetuate her memory and transcend in new generations the altruistic spirit with which she lived. This entity has impacted more than 3,200,000 people, directing its efforts mainly to education, job training, community development and health.
